I will show how I used the analysis to redesign and create targeted tasks that increase students’ ability to access challenging statistical concepts, make purposeful use of technology, make tasks more AI-resistant, and place greater emphasis on students making claims and supporting them with statistical evidence and justification.

11:00 – 12:00   “Work With People Who Teach What You Teach”

Districtwide Like-Subject Collaboration

During this session, teachers will collaborate with like-subject colleagues, selecting one of the three discussion options to share effective practices, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities to strengthen student learning.

 1. ”What Works, What Can We Learn, and What Can We Share” Using the four PLC questions to guide meaningful conversations about teaching practices and student learning. Groups may explore all four questions or dive deeply into one, with the goal of sharing ideas, asking questions, and learning from one another.

2. AI Uses & Strategies Share practical ways teachers are using AI to improve efficiency, streamline tasks, and support instruction. Explore strategies for promoting authentic student learning, critical thinking, and academic engagement in an increasingly AI world.

3. ELOs & Grading Practices Compare ELOs across school sites to identify similarities, differences, and opportunities for alignment. Discuss grading practices and policies, highlighting what is working well, challenges encountered, and opportunities for improvement.
